It’s Friday – A cry for Haiti and my weekend plans

Before I start on my plans I want to say how very sadden I am about the earthquake that devastated Haiti earlier this week. It is such a heart wrenching thing to see, my heart goes out to the Haitian people. Please seek out one of the many funds out there to make a donation. Also be sure it is a reputable site before you give out any of your credit information.

Knowledge is power as much our financial help is needed, we should also find a way to give these people a lasting gift that will help them and the country.  I also pray for the group from our church that left for Haiti last Wednesday.

The plan for this weekend is to continue working on the coat for my husband. Because I feared the welt pocket I spent most of this week practicing on extra fabric. Welts aren’t easy to say the least, so I’ll continue practicing it, hopefully I’ll have it mastered by Sunday.

Joann’s and Hancock Fabric are have a kick off for winter warm up and MLK Day. This means I might have to go shopping.

Have a Great Friday and Wonderful weekend
